As CEO of IM Mastery Academy, Christopher Terry leads a busy life. The Academy, which offers online educational resources on the foreign exchange (forex) market, digital currencies, and e-commerce, reaches thousands of students internationally and continues to expand its offerings. At his speaking engagements, a key point of emphasis for Terry is a positive mindset and the ability to take time to allow for the experience of positive energy.
“You can’t talk about the struggle. The devil and God can’t live in the same place. Good and bad can’t reside in the same location. The sun and the moon can’t reside at the same time,” said Terry in a recent video. “So, when you talk about overcoming adversities, and if you claim to have adversity, yes, you do. But you need to claim what you want.”
Overcoming Adversity
At IM Mastery Academy events, Christopher Terry often discusses overcoming adversity. While he’s adamant about the power of positivity and self-affirmation, he also recognizes that individuals encounter difficulties. But he’s quick to point out that determination and a positive self-concept can be effective tools when facing adversity.
“You see, adversity happens. The one thing that kept me alive and well is I got this hysterical strength, a level of strength I never had before,” said Terry. “When adversity hit, I had to dig deep inside me, and I had to become more than I currently was. In my mind, I had nothing to lose. I am all in.”
Drawing on his personal experience of founding IM Mastery Academy, Christopher Terry stresses the importance of persistence and dedication when pursuing a goal. Prior to founding IM Mastery Academy, Christopher Terry worked in the construction industry. But he soon recognized the potential of an online educational platform focused on market strategies and ideas, and over the course of several years, he built the Academy to become a leading financial education company, layered with offerings beyond financial education, with international reach.
